The New Citizens Manifesto

We are the citizens of our nation!

Over the past years, we have experienced success and failure, hopes and frustrations, expectations and losses.

We have elected various politicians, but instead of witnessing them take real action for the sake of our country, we have seen only political quarrels and in-fighting. 

We are disappointed with such politicians.

However, to resign ourselves to accepting such patterns of behavior means putting up with the way we have been living.

It doesn’t have to be like this!

We don’t have the right to allow this.

If we want to change politics, we have to change the attitude of citizens towards politicians.

Moreover, we have to change ourselves.

It is not a new government but YOU, a New Citizen, who will be able to build a strong Ukraine for your children and yourself. Only by uniting our efforts together, will we be able to make the necessary changes which will improve our lives.

Today YOU can say, “I don’t want to continue this steady stream of frustration any longer.” You can take an active position and begin to ask politicians every day how well they keep their promises to us.

We will vote conscientiously. We will ask questions. We will point out the real problems. We will demand that right decisions be made. We will control how well promises are kept.

Let us not allow to be any longer treated irresponsibly, by arbitrary rule, having our rights be violated, or seeing the interests of our nation neglected.

We can and we will influence politics and politicians.

We can do much more than they can.

We can change our country.

We are the New Citizens.
